Welcome to the Classical Fencing Society in St. Louis.

As the St Louis CFS continued in its training and its core membership developed recognizable trends geographically, a search was begun to find a new location for the main salle. The search concluded after viewing the old school gymnasium at All Saints Parish in the Delmar Loop. The building, circa 1901, is detached from the main church and has at its topmost level a small gymnasium perfectly suited to the weekly training of the CFS. The new location grants the CFS a more autonomous operation, off street parking, and the options for regular training or special events at almost any time during the week and year. We are very happy in this new home and appreciate the kind hospitality of the All Saints Parish family.

NEWS

• Long time Senior member, Lenard Voelker has been made Assistant Instructor of Knife. Meg Piotrowski has been promoted to Drill Master and Terri Manzara has been promoted to salle Whip.
• The program offered by the CFS through the Concordia Turners has closed.
• There are efforts in the works to resume a program at St. Louis University. In the mean time, the CFS remains open to new members from both the Turners and SLU as well as the larger St. Louis community.
